Refund Policy

Clear & Simple Refunds.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, failed transactions, duplicate payments and other payment-related requests are handled on WeTalk.

Last Updated: September 24, 2026

1. Refund Policy Overview

This Refund Policy applies to purchases and paid services made through WeTalk, subject to applicable payment-provider, app-store and legal requirements.

WeTalk aims to provide clear information about paid features before a transaction is completed.

Because different payment methods and platforms may have different refund procedures, the applicable payment provider or app-store rules may also apply to your transaction.

Important: A successful purchase does not automatically qualify for a refund simply because a user changes their mind or no longer wants to use the purchased feature.

2. Purchases & Paid Services

WeTalk may offer paid features, virtual coins, subscriptions or other digital services.

Before completing a transaction, the applicable price and purchase information will generally be displayed through the relevant payment interface.

By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider or app-store billing system to process the transaction.

You are responsible for reviewing the purchase details before confirming a transaction.

3. Coins & Virtual Credits

WeTalk may use virtual coins or credits for certain in-app interactions and features.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or the relevant payment platform, purchased virtual coins are intended for use within WeTalk and are not redeemable for cash.

  • Coins are not a bank balance or deposit.
  • Coins cannot be transferred outside supported WeTalk functionality.
  • Coins may not be sold or exchanged independently by users.
  • Promotional or bonus coins may be subject to additional conditions.

4. When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund request may be reviewed in circumstances such as:

  • A payment was successfully charged but the purchased digital entitlement was not delivered because of a technical issue.
  • A transaction was processed more than once for the same purchase due to a verified payment error.
  • A payment provider confirms a technical failure requiring reversal.
  • A refund is required under applicable law or the rules of the relevant payment platform.

Each request may be reviewed based on transaction records, account information, payment status and the circumstances of the request.

5. Purchases That May Not Be Refundable

Subject to applicable law and payment-provider rules, refunds may generally not be available for:

  • Digital features that have already been consumed or used.
  • Coins that have already been spent on eligible interactions or services.
  • Purchases made voluntarily by the account holder and successfully delivered.
  • Requests based solely on a change of mind.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated because of violations of the Terms of Service, where the applicable transaction is otherwise non-refundable.

Please note: Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Failed or Pending Payments

Sometimes a payment may appear as pending or may be debited from your bank account even though the corresponding WeTalk purchase was not completed.

In such cases, the transaction may be automatically reversed by the payment provider or banking system according to its processing timelines.

If the amount remains unresolved after the applicable processing period, please contact WeTalk support with the transaction details.

7. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction, please contact support as soon as possible.

We may verify the transaction IDs, payment records, account information and purchase details before processing an eligible refund.

Where a duplicate charge is verified, the applicable duplicate transaction may be refunded through the original payment method, subject to the payment provider's processing rules.

8. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe that a transaction was made without your authorization, contact us immediately.

We may request relevant information to investigate the transaction, such as transaction ID, payment reference, account details and other information reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.

You should also contact your bank, card issuer or payment provider if you believe your payment credentials have been compromised.

Account security: Never share your OTP, password, PIN, CVV or payment credentials with another person.

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report a payment problem, contact WeTalk support using the contact details provided below.

To help us investigate your request, please include:

  • Your registered name or account identifier.
  • Registered email address or phone number.
  • Transaction ID or payment reference.
  • Date of the transaction.
  • Amount charged.
  • A brief explanation of the issue.

Providing complete transaction information can help us review the request more efficiently.

10. Refund Review

Refund requests may be reviewed against our transaction records and the applicable payment provider or platform rules.

We may request additional information where necessary to verify the transaction or investigate suspected misuse.

Approval of a refund does not necessarily mean that every future transaction of the same type will qualify for a refund.

11. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method or through the applicable payment platform.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment gateway or app-store provider.

WeTalk does not control the final processing time after a refund has been submitted to the relevant payment provider.

12. Host & Agency Payments

Hosts and agencies may receive payments, earnings or withdrawals according to the applicable WeTalk program rules.

Host or agency earnings are different from user purchases and may be subject to separate verification, eligibility, payout and compliance requirements.

A payment dispute relating to a user purchase does not automatically create an entitlement to a host or agency payout.

Any adjustment, reversal or withholding of earnings will be handled according to the applicable program terms and transaction records.

13. Promotional Credits & Bonuses

Promotional coins, bonus credits, rewards or other promotional benefits may be provided under specific campaigns or offers.

Promotional benefits may have their own validity period, eligibility conditions or usage restrictions.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, promotional credits are not eligible for cash redemption.

14. Fraud & Abuse

Refund systems must not be used to commit fraud, manipulate transactions or obtain unauthorized financial benefits.

WeTalk may investigate suspicious refund activity and may restrict accounts or transactions where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, subject to applicable law.

Important: False refund claims, payment manipulation or fraudulent chargeback activity may result in account restrictions and may be reported where required or permitted by law.

15. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, payment systems, applicable requirements or business practices.

Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
